Academic Support
One-to-one Academic Support appointments are available to all students on-campus. These appointments 40 minutes in duration. On the day and time of your appointment, arrive to the Learning Hub for your appointment.
Tutorial Support @DCFE
Small group Tutorials are available throughout the academic year. Tutorials are available in IT, Word Processing, Communications and Mathematics. Click on any of the below tutorials to make a booking.
IT Tutorials
IT Support Tutorials are available for students to book for general support with your college email, Moodle, Office 365 or ICT module-specific support from an IT specialist tutor in Room 17.
Word Processing Tutorials
Word Processing Tutorials are available on Wednesdays and Fridays in Room 17.
A Word Processing Tutor will be on hand to provide support and advice during these tutorials. You can revise Word Processing class Handouts, work on assignments and prepare for Word Processing exams.
Communications Tutorial
Communications Tutorials are available to all students in Room 17 on Tuesdays. Work on your assignments for this core module in a group setting with the support of Communications tutor Alana Loisan. Places are limited so book yours now.
Maths Support Tutorial
Maths Support Tutorials are available to all Maths students. Work on assignments or review class notes with Maths tutor Aine Leonard on hand to answer questions and provide general Maths support in a group setting. These tutorials are 40 minutes in duration and take place in Room 17 on Wednesdays and can also be accessed via Microsoft Teams. Places are limited so book yours now.
One-to-one appointments with Fiona Hoey are also available. They are 40 minutes in duration and take place in the Learning Hub on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and can also be accessed via Microsoft Teams.
