Library Services
The college library is open Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
Please note that masks must be worn at all times.
The library is equipped with both module specific books and a collection of eBooks for further study. Students can borrow up to two books for two weeks at a time.
The library provides computers and desk space for independent study as well as a colour printer for student use.

Teresa Butler is our college Librarian. She maintains our database and library materials. Teresa can assist students with the following:
Book rentals
Use of online eBooks and reservation of physical books
Computer facilities and access
Issues with email and Moodle logins
Printing and photocopying services

DCFE Six Word Short Story Competition
Your story must be six words long. No more and no less!
A famous example of such a story is that of Ernest Hemingway: “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.”
The deadline to enter is the 11th December 2020.
Please email your entries to Teresa in the library at tbutler.dbc@lmetb.ie.
There is a limit of five entries per student.
The top entries will be published in the DCFE Tribune!
